The story of Mastering Alchemy
How it all began
Mastering Alchemy started out of a question, out of a possibility. It was an experiment put forward by the Teachers of Light. In 2003, Jim Self was told by Metatron that there was another possible path for individuals to move more easily out of the reactionary third dimension into a new higher dimensional realm within consciousness. Into a level of mastery, as Kathumi later explained, to have the ability to manage every thought, feeling, and emotion in every moment.
Mastering Alchemy ‘founder Jim Self has been in communication with these Teachers since childhood, but the question was still unexpected. Jim had already stepped away from a successful career in government and the biotech industry and had been teaching classes on clairvoyance and telepathy. Was he interested in trying this experiment with the Archangelics and Ascended Masters? Yes!
What started as small conversations with a handful of participants grew into the courses, concepts, energy tools, and exercises offered today. Many of the conversation audios with the Archangelics and Ascended Masters are inside coursework starting in Level 2. With the assistance of channel Joan Walker, this format made it easy for all listening to be able to be instructed.
The experiment has been a huge success and thousands of people have gone through the coursework and still enjoy it today as it continues to unfold in their personal evolution. The practical application of the concepts and easy-to-use energy tools established a playbook for success. We hear from so many about how it actually works. And as the light today continues to expand and ignite hearts and minds, the opportunity to align and activate the Lightbody, a cohesive energetic system, is extraordinary.
The information and audio recordings in the coursework accelerate awareness and provide anchor points to access the ever-expanding energy fields and consciousness. Ultimately, by engaging and experimenting, it leads to personal empowerment, higher awareness, and effortless creation.
The coursework continues to evolve today along with each individual, as it is always experienced in present time. Each brings their experience and expertise that widens the path for others, as they pioneer their own, just as Jim Self did. And so it continues today and Mastering Alchemy has become a vibrant global community where individuals can explore their potential and create a life of balance, joy, and purpose.

Jim Self
Jim Self has been leading for years. At 24 he was elected to two terms as Vice Mayor of San Jose. He was then asked by the President of the US to be the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Department of Energy. He has built, grown and sold three successful corporations.
With a foot in two worlds, Jim grew up clairvoyant, very intuitive and often invalidated by others, like so many sensitive, spiritual aware humans (you?). Guided by the internal wisdom of the Heart, he’s been asked to bring a Pathway into existence in the form of Mastering Alchemy. Not a Pathway of “Truth” but a pathway of Choice. This path has been co-created with Ascended Masters and the Archangelic realm and has assisted tens of thousands to begin to Know themselves and why they came here.
Jim’s deeper insights and clear wisdom have created a solid rail for many to explore and discover their own individual paths of choice, happiness and wellbeing; and to enjoy themselves.

Explored intentional communities in the US. Lived in Haight-Ashbury. Finally resigned myself to the fact that what I remembered didn’t exist here. Vida Clement
Vida Clement’s curiosity has always led her. Starting as a journalist and onto many other roles in public relations, marketing, web development, strategy and tech. All which now supports her work with Mastering Alchemy.
Vida brings practical everyday experience, intuitive insight, and a deep love of exploration to the work. Along with the Teachers of Light and MA team, she guides program releases, develops course material, selects timely highlights, and leads live workshops and Q&A calls to support course participants as they move through the tools, concepts, and discoveries within Mastering Alchemy. This includes creating Oṃi AI, to support people in applying the work in daily life.
It makes her smile to see how it all comes together and opens even more possibilities along the way.
